Grand Rounds and M&M

M & M
Mortality and Morbidity conference consists of a broad based discussion of cases in which one or more problems occurred. This is done in a non-judgmental atmosphere, to promote honesty and openness. It is hoped that by reviewing the relevant literature, and the collective experience of the faculty, some consensus is reached as to how to manage a similar problem in the future.

Conferences take place on Thursdays at 6:45-7:45 AM. Attendance in mandatory.

Grand Rounds
Grand Rounds consist of a presentation of a topic of interest by either a member of the University of Miami faculty or by a Visiting Professor.
