Mission Statement
The UM-JMH Center for Patient Safety seeks to stimulate the growth of patient safety knowledge and improve health care practice by conducting scientific and clinical investigations and by designing innovative health care curricula based on human factors, team training and simulation.
Vision Statement
The UM-JMH Center for Patient Safety will become recognized nationally and internationally through research, education and dissemination activities as an indispensable source for information leading to safety and quality innovation across the health care continuum.
