Annual Patient Safety Course

• New interns and residents entering Jackson Memorial Hospital attend a mandatory training program developed by the Center for Patient Safety team. 
• Through the use of simulated cases and standardized patients, skills are observed and strengthened in areas that include hand hygiene, communication, leadership, patient confidentiality, order writing, and the prevention of medical errors.
