Annual Patient Safety Course

Beginning in 2004, the Center for Patient Safety began training new interns and residents entering Jackson Memorial Hospital.  The annual training program is mandatory and must be completed prior to any occurances of patient contact.  Through the use of simulated cases, skills are observed and strengthened in the areas of teamwork, communication, leadership, and hand hygiene. 

The 2009 Patient Safety Course will be held on the following dates:

Interns: June 16, 17, and 18, 2009

Residents: July 2, 2009
