For the past twenty-two years, Lisa Forman Rosen has worked at the University of Miami in the field of communications. Her career began in the Department of English as a teacher and innovator developing writing and literature courses for undergraduates. As part of the UHealth/Miller team, Lisa has provided writing services to numerous centers, divisions, and departments including community relations and marketing, medical development, cardiovascular, and biomedical sciences. She is the co-author of the Miller School’s 50th anniversary history book, A Tradition of Caring: Discovery, Knowledge, and Healing, and she has worked with prominent community leaders (including a member of the University’s Board of Trustees) as a memoir writer. Lisa brings her expertise to the UM-JMH Center for Patient Safety, and her focus is on building both internal and external communication initiatives. In particular, she is assisting UM-JMH CPS team leaders with the publication of research studies and receiving grant support for patient safety programs. |
