Regional Anesthesia and Acute Perioperative Pain Management

The Division of Regional Anesthesia and Acute Perioperative Pain Management utilizes state of the art regional anesthesia techniques as the major component of a multimodal approach to acute pain management. The mission of the division is to provide the highest quality of acute pain control to all our patients and consequently improve patient outcome. During a formal 1-month rotation, our residents learn to perform the entire repertoire of single shot and continuous nerve block techniques with nerve stimulation and ultrasound guidance.
