Dear Anesthesia Alumni

Thank you to all the members and non members of our association who came to the First Department of Anesthesiology Alumni Association Reunion reception and dinner on January 18 – 19, 2008 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida.  What a weekend it was!  Everyone enjoyed the festivities, visited with friends, colleagues and caught up with the latest news on everyone’s life after graduation from our residency program.  We are planning a similar events for the 2009 UM/JMH Alumni Reunion what will promise more activities and after party fun.   Everyone enjoyed the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and facilities, the shopping and nightlife entertainment that we are planning to go back there again.

We are committed to offering our members outstanding lectures and workshops by local and national speakers who are authorities in the subjects.   Our intent is to provide a valuable academic experience in a venue that also lends itself to the reuniting of old colleagues and the fostering of new friendships.

As we are determined to make your Alumni Association a club worthy of your time and commitment, we are asking for your support in our attempt to bring you year round educational and social events.  To accomplish our goals we are asking for our alumni to become lifetime members of our University of Miami/Jackson Medical Center (UM/JMH) Anesthesia Alumni Association through a onetime $500 donation or $100 a year.  These funds will be used to develop high quality educational seminars, workshops and special events worthy of your attendance.  Lifetime members will also receive a discounted fees to our conference and events, and will be notified of special alumni events.  Our goal is to reach 90% alumni membership.  Share this website with your fellow classmates and encourage them to join.
